May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5

We are seeking partnerships with other Victoria churches to share in the vision for the Archangel Marketplace.
  • It is a way to reach people ecumenically, and a way of working together.
  • It is a way to share the beauty and joy of Christianity expressed through art, music and craftsmanship.
  • It is a place to learn, and a place to make new friends.
  • The Archangel Marketplace is a dream that has as its seed, Christ's teaching to "Love one another as I have loved you."
  • Art -  that which is made by human hands, is something we can all cherish, and it comes in many forms: crafts and fine arts, music, childrens' art, folk art, even cookbooks created by parish families for fundraisers.
  • We are inviting interest parishes and faith communities to participate, so that this can become an annual event.
Partnering with The Archangel Marketplace

Here are some different ways you can help, this year:

  • Your Sunday School could participate with a childrens' art exhibition on the theme of Charity and Giving
  • Your parish could participate with a fund-raising booth - cookbooks welcome!
  • Do you have a wonderful adult, youth or children choir that could give a small free performance on the plaza?
  • Are there artists, artisans, craftspeople within your community whose work deserves a larger audience?
