Rev. Dr. Wee Chong Tan

The Archangel Marketplace is hosting a book-signing event featuring the Memoirs of Dr. Wee Chong Tan. A broad selection of his many other published works will also be available at the market.

Dr. Tan (Ph.D. Biochemistry) is one of Victoria's treasures: an Honorary Citizen of the City of Victoria, a recently-appointed Honorary Confucian Scholar, an expert on world-wide organic farming methods, one of the founding faculty of the Lester B. Pearson College of the Pacific, the founder of the Canadian College for Traditional Chinese Medicine, and for 35 years, an Anglican priest, ordained by the Lord Bishop of London in St. Paul's Cathedral, London, England. Locally, he served for 32 years at St. John the Divine.

His recently-published Memoirs chronicle an amazing lifetime, and form an intimate glimpse into one man's faith in God and in his fellow human beings.   

The stories are filled with humour, faith, and perseverance, told in his own words and his own voice.
