The Archangel Marketplace is being held in conjunction with the 2010 Canadian Archdiocesan Assembly of the Orthodox Church in America.

The Marketplace Coordinator Valla Eiriksson is a member of All Saints of Alaska Orthodox Church in Victoria, BC. She has extensive experience in retail, retail marketing and advertising, events marketing, and tourism marketing, and has organized two other festivals as well as having participated in numerous markets and showcases in BC and Alberta. A professional artist and designer, she owned an art gallery and tourism business (Avanti Glass Studio) on Salt Spring Island for five years before returning to Victoria in 2008. Valla is also a web designer, and in the past year has produced/developed five major projects for the Orthodox in Victoria, including the Archangel Marketplace site that you are viewing now.

The Assembly Coordinator is Mira Davidson, and the Logistics Coordinator is Charmaine Wetherall. Working together, the three Coordinators are responsible for the bulk of the organizational planning for the Assembly.

But our volunteers are the key: supporters in the parish, families, friends, friends of friends - they are all needed and appreciated, because we could not accomplish anything without their help.

Interested in volunteering for some or all of the Archangel Marketplace?
